Borrow My Doggy

Our assembly was joined by a delightful visitor - Rikke Rosenlund - a Danish-born entrepreneur who founded "Borrow My Doggy". She talked about how this now famous and popular programme came to be. All of this was rooted in one catechism: "The things that one regrets the most, are the things that one does not do".
She talked briefly about her life, which revolved around her work life and her travel. One day, as she settled in the UK, Rosenlund borrowed her neighbour's dog Aston while the neighbour was busy. This, for her, seemed be a great business idea and she has now achieved national recognition.
We learned, from this story of success, that one must not be scared to try new things!
