Over 200 participate in House Music

Over 200 pupils took part in the House Music competition held last week.

Expert adjudicators judged each of the sixteen instrumental and vocal group categories.

All were extremely impressed with the very high level of musicianship on show. One wrote to Dr Clayden:

It as so wonderful to join you last week and see all the amazing talent your school had to offer. I was honestly so impressed at the skill level of your students.  You should be very proud.

Another adjudicator reflected:

It was wonderful to see such talent on show by such polite and well mannered young men - they were all a credit to your school!

Every student who took part will earn house points and those that won the top places in each category will have made a significant difference to their house point tallies.

Winners will be invited to perform in the Young Musician of the Year Final which will take place on Wednesday 25 March.
