Wilson's School

Welcome back, Wilsonians!

welcome back!

It has been a very energetic start to the year, and we have been particularly delighted by the enthusiastic start that our new Year 7 cohort has made! Last week, they enjoyed the usual Induction Day adventures, including a Treasure Trail around the school as well as activities with their tutor group, learning how to use their cubby holes, valuables lockers, and homework diaries. There have also been the usual induction activities coordinated by the music and sports departments and the opportunity to be introduced to the instruments that pupils can learn on the Year 7 Instrumental Programme!  As always, new pupils have learned about the fundamental importance of kindness, consideration and politeness – including the need to take special care to look out for those who might be finding things difficult.

This year, we celebrate our 410th birthday on 29 September 2025, allowing us to reflect on our proud and long-standing traditions of academic achievement, personal development, and service. Whether it’s through rigorous study or participating in the range of co-curricular opportunities on offer, Wilson’s students are encouraged to aim high, support one another and embody the school's motto - Non Sibi Sed Omnibus (Not For Oneself But For All) - at all times.

We wish all Wilson's students, staff and parents a successful and fulfilling year ahead!
