Wilson’s Talk!
Are you an Old Wilsonian that is willing to speak about your current job and career pathway in an assembly setting?

Our 'Wilson’s Talk!’ series continues to inspire our students, offering them insights into a variety of professions.
Previous talks have been delivered by alumni and members of our school community that have followed interesting career paths including financial services, water conservation, management, law, and AI.
To develop the school’s careers offering further, we are now looking to give Wilson's students more regular exposure to individuals from as broad a range of careers as possible.
Talks take the form of a visiting speaker highlighting their career pathway; typically, this includes -
- How they got into their line of work
- Industry insights, including the realities of their job
- The education pathway that led them there
- Career advice they have gained since leaving Wilson's
At the end of each talk, students are invited to ask any questions they might have in a Q&A section.
Talks can run from short 20‑minute assembly slots to full 1‑hour sessions that take place over an entire school period.
To register an interest in speaking to Wilson's students, complete the following Microsoft Form.
