Wilson’s U15A lost the toss, with Whitgift electing to bat first. A strong opening partnership of 57 gave Whitgift an excellent platform to build a big total, but the introduction of spin from Rockik and Olly slowed the scoring rate considerably. Rochit finished with impressive figures of 4-0-20-0, while Olly bowled well for his 1-24 from 4 overs.
In the closing stages of the innings, a superb spell from Chirayu — 4 overs, 3 for 27 — helped restrict Whitgift to 141 for 7 from their 20 overs.
In reply, after losing an early wicket, Nilin and Luca put together a fantastic partnership of 75 to put Wilson’s firmly back in the game. Luca played brilliantly for his 40 from 32 balls before being trapped LBW.
Wilson’s remained in control for much of the chase, rotating the strike well and finding the boundaries when needed. Going into the final over, 5 runs were required for victory, but some excellent bowling from Whitgift, combined with a wicket, meant the scores finished level, with Nilin stranded at the non-striker’s end on an outstanding 50 not out.
In the Super Over, Wilson’s managed 8 runs, but Whitgift reached the target with one ball to spare.
Despite the narrow defeat, this was the best performance I have seen from this team. They fielded brilliantly, batted positively, and the team spirit throughout the match was exceptional, with everyone supporting each other from start to finish.
Wilson's U13B won the toss and elected to field against Carshalton boys U13a.
Carshalton Boys finished on 129/6 from their 20 overs. Pick of the bowlers was Advik with excellent figures of 4-1-9-1, while skipper Vivaan also picked up two wickets. Unfortunately, the fielding overall was nowhere near good enough
In response, openers Vivaan (45* off 48) and Rishaan (39 off 49), combined with 44 extras, guided us comfortably to victory.
Wilson's U12A lost the toss and were asked to bat against Kings College Wimbledon . Wilson’s posted 113-5 from their 20 overs, thanks largely to an excellent 90-run partnership between Ishaan Patel (44*) and Nilin Reddy (30). Their composed innings rebuilt the innings superbly and guided the team to what looked like a very defendable total.
In reply, KCS reached 114-5 in 19.1 overs, winning with five balls to spare. With the opposition still needing 10 runs an over with three overs remaining, Wilson’s looked favourites, but the game slipped away under pressure.
A key turning point came when the batter who eventually guided KCS to victory was dropped first ball off the bowling of the impressive Akshat Sharma — a chance that proved costly.
Overall, the bowling and fielding performances were solid in patches, but when the pressure moments arrived, Wilson’s were found wanting. The boys will need to improve their awareness in key game situations and manage pressure better in the closing stages of matches.

Wilson’s U12B won the toss and elected to bat first against KCS.
The Wilson’s batters found conditions difficult, particularly against balls bowled straight and on a good length, which led to regular wickets falling throughout the innings. Despite some determined efforts, Wilson’s were eventually bowled out for 71.
In reply, Wilson’s produced an excellent effort with the ball and in the field, matching KCS with a disciplined bowling performance. The team fought hard throughout the innings and impressively claimed 8 wickets before KCS eventually passed the winning target.
Although the result didn’t go Wilson’s way, the boys showed great character and determination in the field, battling right until the end.
Wilson’s U12C fell to a 63-run defeat against KCS on Friday after a difficult all-round performance.
Wilson's won the toss and elected to field, against Kings College School. Wilson’s made a reasonable start and kept things fairly tight during the opening 10 overs, restricting KCS to around 40. However, the second half of the innings proved much tougher, with wayward bowling and poor fielding allowing the opposition to take control. A costly 47 extras helped KCS post 127 from their 20 overs.
Among the bowlers, Vihaan Rohit stood out with the best performance and continued to battle hard despite the difficult conditions in the field.
Chasing 128, Wilson’s struggled to build partnerships or maintain momentum with the bat. Rishi looked the most comfortable at the crease, making 10 from 13 balls, while Ahan showed some positive intent and struck the ball well during his 16 from 31 deliveries. Despite the difficulties, the team managed to bat through the innings, finishing on 64-9.
Wilson’s U12D lost by 8 wickets to KCS in their opening fixture.
Wilson's 12d lost the toss and elected to bat against Kings College School. The Wilson’s batters struggled to build momentum throughout the innings, with very few were able to find the boundary or rotate the strike consistently. Several players found it difficult to make solid contact, and the innings never really got going. The top scorer was Anay, who battled hard for his 8 from 25 balls, as Wilson’s finished on 103-6.
Unfortunately, the difficulties continued in the field. While KCS only managed to score 26 runs off the bat, Wilson’s gifted away a huge 78 extras through wides, no balls, and misfields, making the chase far easier than it should have been. KCS eventually reached 104-2 in just 13.4 overs.
Wilson’s U15A won the toss and elected to bat against Ewell Castle. After losing three quick wickets for just 13 runs, Sevin took control of the innings with some powerful hitting and excellent running between the wickets, constantly putting the Ewell fielders under pressure. He finished unbeaten on 90. A fine cameo innings of 23 from Nilin helped push the total to 154 for 5 from 20 overs.
In reply, the Ewell Castle batters produced a determined display, but regular wickets and an increasing required run rate saw them eventually bowled out for 100, giving Wilson’s a convincing victory
Wilson's U15B won the toss and elected to bat against Ewell. Castle. The Wilson’s batters piled on an impressive 175-6 from their 20 overs, led by a stunning unbeaten innings from Aditya, who blasted 56 not out from just 19 balls. His aggressive stroke play completely shifted the momentum and gave Wilson’s a commanding total to defend.
In reply, Ewell had no answer to Wilson’s disciplined bowling attack and were skittled for just 44 in 12 overs, sealing a comprehensible win
Wilson’s U14As secured an impressive 60-run victory over Ewell after a strong all-round performance.
Wilson's lost the toss and were put into bat, again Ewell Castle. Wilson’s experimented with the batting order, with Prateek giving opportunities to players lower down the order as the usual numbers 6 and 7 opened the innings. The early stages were difficult, slipping to 14-2 after 4 overs and leaving the innings in a precarious position.
However, Devam and Shon completely changed the momentum of the match with a superb 119-run partnership. Devam anchored the innings brilliantly with 46* from 49 balls, while Shon played positively throughout for an excellent 56 from 43 deliveries. Their partnership guided Wilson’s to a very competitive 154-5.
In reply, Wilson’s bowled well overall, although a few short deliveries were punished. The fielding effort was outstanding, with the team working hard to cut off boundaries and restrict singles throughout the innings. The catching, however, was an area for improvement, with Ewell’s opener being dropped at least four times.
The standout bowlers were Kian, whose excellent spell of 2-1-1 applied immediate pressure, and Nimay, who bowled tightly to finish with 3-8-1.
Wilson’s U14B won the toss and elected to bat against Ewell Castle. After the loss of an early wicket, Wilson’s recovered well thanks to a positive batting display from Aeshan (52), Arjun (36) and Raphael (26), finishing on 170 for 6.
In reply, Wilson’s shared the bowling duties effectively and bowled Ewell Castle out for 73 to secure an impressive victory.
Wilson's U13A won the toss and elected to bat. Wilson’s got off to the perfect start thanks to a fantastic opening partnership between Arjun and Ridhaan. Both batters retired after reaching excellent half-centuries, with Arjun striking 52 from just 31 balls and Ridhaan adding a composed 50 from 41 deliveries.
The strong foundation allowed the middle order to continue the momentum, with Tritish contributing a quickfire 26 from 20 balls and Will finishing brilliantly with 21 from only 10 deliveries. Wilson’s closed on a huge 204-4 from their 18 overs.
In reply, Wilson’s bowlers completely dominated from the outset, sharing the wickets around in a disciplined team performance. Ewell were bowled out for just 40 in 14 overs.
The standout bowlers were Naitik, whose superb spell of 2-1-0-2 applied relentless pressure, and Arnav, who impressed with figures of 2-3-2. Further wickets for Vayun, Leo, Rahavan (2), and Reyansh completed an emphatic victory.
Wilson's U12A lost the toss and were put into bat against Ewell Castle. The Wilson’s batters made an excellent start with a strong opening partnership. N Reddy top scored with a fluent 33 retired from just 27 balls, while valuable contributions throughout the order helped Wilson’s post an impressive 172-2 from their 20 overs.
Ewell Castle had a couple of strong batters, including one player who reached 50, but regular wickets restricted the chase. Wilson’s eventually bowled Ewell out for 95 in 18.4 overs, with V Gowtham claiming 3 wickets and the remaining wickets shared amongst the bowlers.
