Old Wilsonians take flight!

Will Hicks, Jerome Fernando and Jordan Smith completed a demanding programme that included ground school, flight training in Florida and gaining their Commercial Pilot Licences, before returning to continue their training and qualify to fly commercial aircraft. Their graduation ceremony took place at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham.

All three have exciting careers ahead with leading airlines. Will has been flying as a First Officer with British Airways since May, Jerome will join TUI in November, and Jordan is set to join British Airways in the near future.

It is particularly pleasing to see the strong Wilson’s connections shared by all three graduates. Will and Jerome both served as School Captains, while all three were members of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF). Will served in the Army Section as Company Sergeant Major, while Jerome and Jordan were members of the RAF Section, both reaching the rank of Warrant Officer.

Congratulations to Will, Jerome and Jordan on this fantastic achievement. We wish them every success as they begin the next chapter of their aviation careers!
