In English this term, Year 8 students have been writing and delivering speeches on figures of political, historical, and social significance that they find inspiring.

Students from Years 7 and 8 continue to attend Key Stage 3 Creative Writing Club, embracing the opportunity to write, discuss, and perform!

We were delighted to hear this week of the success of Zach in Year 12 in the Quotation Bank Essay Prize.

Many congratulations to Richie (Year 8) who has been awarded third prize in The Chaucer Heritage Trust's The Canterbury Tales Writing Competition 2023/24.

Each Thursday lunch time, Key Stage 3 Creative Writing Club is well-attended by our Year 7 and 8 pupils.
